If you’re interested in Chicago’s unique lakefront rock carvings, there will be a number of opportunities in the summer of 2022 to see and appreciate them. The Promontory Point carving workshop and walking tours are past, but you can see some of the results below. Meanwhile, on Saturday, June 4, at 11 a.m. Aron Packer and I will be giving a walking tour of the carvings at Foster Avenue Beach for Intuit: The Center for Intuitive and Outsider Art. This walk is very accessible and involves only one small climb down some stairs. For tickets and more information, go to https://www.art.org/lakefront-anonymous-pt-2/.
